home from Wausau
Mar. 29th, 2006 10:54 pmSo, here's an update thingie.
Since I was an idiot and didn't post about this *before* I actually took the trip, Mom, Jolie and I took off and went up to Wausau Monday morning and left Bosco with Dad for a couple days. Here's the trip in a nut shell, and I'll spare you the rambling on about how much I adore that city since I've probably gone into that a thousand times before. I would live there if UWMC were a four-year university, really I would. Anyway. As for the trip, and a couple days before the trip actually happened *cough*:
lots and lots of geocaching, on the order of 22 caches in four days, and getting my 100th cache while in Wausau=:)
authentic Mexican food=:)
seeing relatives=:)
95.5 WIFC, the best radio station in the state of Wisconsin=:)
seeing Danielle and Dani eliminated from the amazing Race=:(
sisters feeling sick=:(
finding out that some country artist covered an amazing U-2 song=:( and what the hell?
lime margaritas=:) and chalked up to experience
listening to Jolie's country crap the whole way home=:( and bleh!
the amazing city of Wausau and all the surrounding little towns=:)
being met at the door of the house in Waupun by a snuggly wiggly kissy yellow lab=:) and aww, how cute!
and on the whole, the trip=:) :D :) :D : :D
Now I'm going to write down the amazing dream I had Sunday night and have daydreamed about and expanded on in snippets since. I blame a radio drama from WPR just before I went to sleep Sunday that dealt with the British navy... that and some daydreams from earlier in the day... and slightly before *cough*. Mixing languages and political figures again, am I. Going to bed now, I think I am. Talking like Yoda, I really am! Weird I am, disputed that isn't. :)
And I sharding *love* this song!
