strange kind of day
Mar. 14th, 2006 04:05 pmSo I'm walking down the sidewalk and just as I'm realizing the downside of a tailwind as my hair gets thrown straight into my face I hear a voice behind me calling "Sarah!" And I turn my head to see who it is and I hear footsteps, wearing sneakers, running down the sidewalk toward me. And even though I'm moving fairly quickly for me he catches up because he's twice my size or at least it certainly feels that way. And when he catches up I feel these long arms go around my waist and I squeak but he spins me around and I look up and up into that incredibly familiar face, and that amazing voice is booming "Surprise! Hello!" And all I can do is stare at him and beam and when I do think, I hug him. And the rest is literary lost adventure history.
On days like this, I wish.
I'll write a real update later. Thank goodness for Mandy and for decent professors being forgiving. Other than that, oy. Sorry for the fourth era ramble, blame a random daydream that hit me over the head on the way home from class.
