weeeell...
Aug. 28th, 2005 11:15 amUpdate-ness! *Finally!*
I still had nightmares, though they were McCoy-centric, not Valeris. How odd...
Still working on my parents to escape back to uni this Wednesday/Tuesday/whenever, not Sunday. No offense to my family, I love them dearly and everything, but I need my space. And it's definitely time. Holidays are great, but there's only so much time I can spend in a house with four other people who are very, very individual before I start craving my own little corner of Midwestern America again. And I confess, it's a fairly short time. big surprise. :)
Okie, to explain a few things that I said I would in previous updates but didn't because I'm slow. If people have been watching the weather, they'll know that about a week and a half ago certain parts of Wisconsin got shmucked by tornadoes, one town severely damaged and one pretty much wiped off the map. Weeeeell, I had dinner theater tickets that night and was just finishing the dinner part of things when the storms hit. and the power goes out, so the AC goes out and there are several hundred of us standing around in the lower hallways of the building just kind of lingering waiting for things to let up. Luckily for us the worst that happened where we were was the whole city lost power and a tree blew over across the road... narrowly missing smooshing our car. Whew. The storms eventually passed, power came back on, and on with the show... which was alright but not great. And it was Damn Yankees, if anybody's wondering.
Still working on that Cecelia, two of them actually, and a longer Geordi-Leah fic that hit me last night and now I'm hoping I remember it all! Eep! *writes* after I go and transfer these last couple of files to my laptop. No more e-mailing of stuff and having to edit out all the returns! Yay!
