computers and chanters

Indeed, this's where I went starting about six-ish Monday night.

First off, I was kept from the caprine round-up event by people needing the computer for other things, and while it was being used for other things it suddenly freezes up. apparently the mouse had a short and didn't work, and whatever anyone clicked nothing would close. Switching the computer off and bac on brought up the same dang windows, and since everyone wasn't sure what the frak was the matter with it, I didn't dare get on and try the keyboard commands I generally use.

So off it goes to a friend of ours who was sweet enough to sort out whatever issues we were having after his work hours were over for the local school district. And yup, it was the mouse, so now we have a new one and some new updates installed, and I'm signed in again. Yay!

What's up with SC? I've heard from other people's LJ's that it's down till Mordred and Merry get bac from holiday? Sniffle, sniffle. Least that's four days only, not longer. It could be worse.

Now, since I've got to catch up on challenges, must write lotsa fiiiiction. And I've scared myself the past two nights having dreams that I've either been going in for surgery or been ill and on my way to hospital. I hope to God they aren't prophetic dreams... that's the hypochondriac in me talking there. And K'vay/Koryl, if you ever read this, the second and more recent of the two dreams connected to you... weird, I know.

Yup, SouCon's down til the wizzes get back. The caprine rescue was rescheduled, though, so you can still go. :)

*snuggles* the Fiora who's going in tomorrow. Best of luck with that, I'll be thinking about you. That might've been what prompted that freaky dream... I knew you were going in and somehow my subconscious transposed it onto me. That doesn't explain K'vay and Koryl being there though...

Yay for things being rescheduled! four or so days give or take... *starts counting down*
