Is mine! Yaaaay! *dazzle*
Would've been here earlier but I doubt if Alan and Jim would've apreciated hotter than heck capuccino in their computer lab. Even if it was cinnamon vanilla nut, mmmmm. :)
Anyway, I'm more coherent. And it's interesting here for sure. Alex and Nathan (Nathan being the one I knew before) are new and needing a buncha extra attention to get settled. Courtney's just *cool* and seems to be adjusting fairly well in comparison to the other two--no offense to the guys, but it's true. Nathan's... well I knew him before and he hasn't changed that much, somewhat introverted, kinda eerie. Alex is fifteen, and he acts like he's blind and fifteen. Sometimes I'll hear a random pseudo-meow cat sounding thing and think Bosco's had his tail tread on, and it'll be Alex making some unique sound effect out of the blue. Hm. Court I can see how she'd once been a sighted high school student, but has adjusted remarkably. And then there's Mary, the student Mary, who's old enough to have a grown son that she mentioned over breakfast this morning and lives twenty minutes from old home nowhere for me. Small world.
So I'm kind of on my own, left to my own devices till the others sort themselves out. It's gratifying in a way, since I'm trusted to be self-reliant/self-sufficient. And yes, I'm cleared to be twiddling around for a few... I'm not that evil and abusive of trust, I swear. Would've been on SC last night but I truly remember very little of things after I got home and showered directly after posting my liberated entry of yesterday afternoon. I vaguely remember thinking I looked like Lieutenant Savik when I walked down the hall in a blue and white dress that I didn't mind getting wet from my dripping hair... then I closed my door, fed the dog, turned out my lights, and the next thing I know it's much, much later: keyword, zzzzz. I needed that.
So anyway, going to dodge the card game tonight since I'm crappy at playing, and since I want to spend a buncha time on SC RPing. I'd probably spend more time petting Marcus's new little grey kitten than playing cards if I go.
Anyway... off to work again. Or reading. Or both at once. I'll be on SC tonight unless I can't dodge that card game after all and they coerse me into going. Which isn't likely.
Lords I feel great. :) This city is theraputic, I swear. *dazzle*
