Oy. Summer school is... interesting. Still having labby troubles. He's the sweetest dog in the *world* but things be... well they are.
Didn't get to see Episode 3 last night on account of I felt like ker-crud-ness and bailed out. So Gracie and Dale went alone, and in retrospect maybe there's an up side to that. Last night we had a tornado go through. Rib Mountain got shmucked, downtown got shmucked like right where the bridge runs, and I don't know how those two dealt with things because who knows how Cedar Creek handles tornado thingies with multiple touchdowns. But... yeah.
Going to a public forum type thing in Green Bay later today with Gracie, Dale and Joan and maybe someone else though I'm not sure. This's dealing with DVR (vocational rehab agency in the state) and everything that's going phenomenally *wrong* with it. Can someone say higher levels of management need a flipping *clue*? We're going to hopefully give them one, if they bother to listen. Yay, running around Wausau in a dress until we leave. I consign me to oblivion.
Gotta make it through the day, la la la.

Date: 2005-06-09 06:39 am (UTC)As for the DVR, you could come to Iowa, where there's at least a rather good version of your DVR (we call it department for the Blind, but rose by any other name.) Of course, there's not much else here, unless you like pigs and corn...

Date: 2005-06-10 09:07 am (UTC)Actually, I wouldn't know. We only had one here *years* ago, and I don't really remember much about it. Anyway... hi! BTW, I've friended you!
