Before the real update, bandwagons are us.
Ten things I've done meme...
1. Trained in a lunar simulator (think five degrees of freedom) while in Huntsville, Alabama.
2. spoken before members of congress, both houses at once.
3. Gone hot-air ballooning over the Arizona desert at seven in the morning, and nearly spit the champagne at the end. Gross!
4. Performed with a choir in Carnegie Hall.
5. Danced my way through a busy sidewalk cafe in Portland, Oregon, catching the eye of a Nigerian street musician in the process. (and I didn't hit a single thing!)
6. Swam unassisted in the Gulf of Mexico. (and gotten horribly sun burned, too)
7. Read from the personal library of the president of the National Federation for the Blind.
8. Walked the streets of St. Louis in a crowd over one hundred thousand strong on the Fourth of July, while in the midst of the St. Louis fair and a national Lutheran youth gathering.
9. Understood every word of a technical explanation given from engineering on Picard's Enterprise. Geeky=me! and loving it!
10. Identified myself to someone by my class ring and the phrase "It's me commander."
And I'm not making any of these up, you know.
