*gulps a bunch of water, feels marginally better*
Note to self, Chanter dear. Two large glasses of that particular wine will get you a spinny head and, later, a hangover.
I'm not complaining about the 2500 words, though. Evidently I've got a new Hetalia thing in the works even before the first one's been finished and posted. This one's Rhode Island and Portugal, Rhode Island/Portugal, and contains both a time gap and a significant difference in emotion and tone between the segments. Intensity, thy name is Anabela struggling with the historical demons that her human bosses won't metaphorically exorcise until they will. Portugal is a sweetheart, a very good friend through it all and, in my very biased opinion, cuter than a cute personification from cute town.
Also Anne cusses like a salty New Englander. Heh. And one of her couple of human middle names is Luz. yes, that is a deliberate nod.
