on the marsh for a few
Apr. 4th, 2020 11:21 amI gave in and went to visit family in Fond Du Lac County for a few days. Currently staying with my parents, in the house I grew up in. My sisters are keeping clear of everyone, as they were before I came to visit - one has her own family, including kiddos and a diabetic husband, the other is percolating a kid and still working besides - but there has been facetiming with nieces, which is fun. There has also been biking, fish fry, and the scrubbing of one scuzzy coffeemaker. Everyone is still social distancing, but that's a little easier in a small town.
I'm not sure how long I'll be up here. It's definitely a change, but being less in my own head isn't hurting me.

Yay for fish fry!

What is Wisconsin's current lockdown state?
Enjoy your time in Fond du Lac County. Wave hi to the Evinrude plant for me if you get a chance.
