6 or... a bunch more Sunday
Aug. 4th, 2019 06:30 pmMy sister's supposed to show up shortly, because sleeping on my couch means she doesn't have to be up at 4 tomorrow morning the better to drive to a work commitment at the state's southern border, so I'll make this quick.
"Tudo bem?" asks another masculine voice from just inside the doorway, and if that voice belongs to who Rhode Island thinks it does - yep, on the first look over, that dancer's outline's unmistakable - the doorway won't be his territory for long. "Brother mine, what'd you get into?" For all his actual words could be flippant, Brazil sounds worried.
Portugal glances sideways, eyes only. He barely moves otherwise, but his mouth quirks a smile, which is at least a reasonably good sign amid all the rest of it. "'Wãe aicô. And I think you know?" There's enough exhaustion in his greeting to slur the first syllable severely, but he's trying, audibly, for lightness. Rhode Island doesn't know whether to smile in turn or frown, at that.
