I'm leaving a comment here to screech and flail at your current music, because great song is great. I dislike the English version, because it's not a translation but is a whole different song, really. But yes.

Maybe I should do this snowflake thing. Hmm.

Believe it or not, that's what the language nerdery comment on someone else's journal was all about! Holy point of view shift altering the entire song, wow! I'd never heard the English version until yesterday, didn't even know it existed, and then went... eh? Whoa.

Confession: I speak very little French, though I adore it, so had to read the Elle Me Dit lyrics in translation, when I first heard the song, to have a clue.
