Fuzzy critter snuggles definitely qualify here. If I get the chance to be climbed on by a purring cat or three, or have a friendly dog in my lap, it absolutely brightens my day. Going out to DX, and the less horrible ambient noise the better, also qualifies; I've said before, and I'll say again, that radio time is one of the best ways I know to unwind. Radio time on a reasonably well-kept trail somewhere? That much nicer. I'm a Wisconsin green land gal, and I know it. And... I admit to occasionally going youtube sniffing and rewatching episodes of a handful of American and Canadian game shows from the late '80's/early '90's if things have gone to crap. Those are memories from when I was a tiny Chanter.

Date: 2019-01-02 11:34 am (UTC)There was a series in the early '90's called Jackpot, and it definitely came via Ontario. It didn't air often, at least from what kid me saw of it, but adult me once went sniffing around to see if she'd imagined it and--ooh, hey, it's a thing! And really quite fun!
