Note to self: Nobody gives a darn if you cry a little in the shower, and it's not like that's a situation where tears are going to matter much anyway.
Second note to self: Catharsis like that can sometimes help.

No good very bad (not as bad as it's ever been, but pretty crappy anyway) brain week. It seems to be... better, for the above, and possibly for the upcoming two days of my own time. Probably a combination, honestly. Things are not perfect, but they're definitely less immediately painful, which is a relief. I'll take it.

Date: 2018-02-10 04:57 am (UTC)One of the things I haven't mastered, but probably should, is being able to not just blow through, but *sit with* things and be okay that they suck. Or moreso, to let the tears go rather than stuffing them down where they bottle up and fester.
a shower would be a good place for that, at least for gentle tears. Really cutting loose might require a bath, so one doesn't have footing to keep.
