Thank you for understanding, or agreeing, or offering a thoughtful counterpoint, or assuring me that no, you're actually not messed up in unhealthy ways, or squeeing and/or flailing right along with me. Thank you for giving me hope that I'm not the overinvested, oversensitive, humorless girl I've long been taught to believe I am. Thank you for slowly but surely teaching me that in fact, what I am is a nerdlady fan among fen, and that that's actually *welcomed*, more than just tolerated, in some circles.
Without the lot of you, I would be far lonelier, minus the tenuous grasp on self-acceptance I have now, and clueless to many of my orientation's variables. That 'being a lady bluerider' tag? Not coincidental. I owe all of you.
Yes, occasionally there can be drama. Yes, once in a while something metaphorically blows up. Fortunately, the blow-ups seem to also blow *over* with reasonable speed, once an issue or other gets addressed. Thank goodness.
