Certain sensations, sight, smell, sound, whichever, can either revolt or delight us depending on the experience they go with. Any given sensation might make a person gag, giggle or shiver in terror. If there's a sensation that makes you react, write it and the story behind it down. The goal is to share a few life experiences and to once again prove how unique we are.
Here's mine.
I said as much on the Southern knot: lilies of the valley have made me giggle since early in high school. Their scent is identical to the cold cream we used to clean off stage makeup when our musicals were running. Read, fun times!
As for the icky one, I can no longer listen to Madonna's Live To Tell without quaking in my school shoes. This was the song that was playing in the car when I was being driven to the hospital in the midst of my glaucoma attack. Nasty, nasty, nasty imagery right there.
