Edited to add re, fandoms: I'm a Trek girl forever and ever, especially DS9, TNG and Voyager, Babylon 5, ER, Hamilton, Battlestar Galactica (as much if not more for the original than the reboot), Diane Duane's Young Wizards series, Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next and Nursery Crime series, Alien Worlds (late '70's radio drama, very obscure), Space Cases (please don't laugh, but it was formative as heck for young me), uuuuummm...

Weeeeeell, for me, the choice of who to bounce out the door/airlock is obvious. Cliff Garak, though I'll be merciful and say he's in a holosuite with the safety protocols on when that happens. Brrrrr. Shag Dr. Franklin, and my reasons will remain hidden, and marry LaForge. Unabashedly geeky blind folks (in entirely different shipboard departments) FTW, and he'd be a balance to my gloomy tendencies without driving me bonkers.
