2014 for another few hours

I'm still around, I've just been remiss in posting for the last *shamefaced* little while. At the moment, I'm combination relishing the week and change I've had off and dreading returning to work on Friday. Yes, even if it's for one day and we're technically closed. What does that say about my situation? ... It's not Colorado. I'll take it.

Writing has been happening, slowly. I've managed a little here, a little there, and today all of a sudden I blinked and it was 300 words later. I'm hoping tomorrow is a lot more of the same. There's also been DX (in the bitter cold, gah! but I finally got Radyo Pilipinas), and Christmas with both immediate and extended family. Things haven't been too bad, of late.

I don't know if I want to go and drink somewhere or just curl up. It's early-ish yet, so I'll see.

2015, may you be better than 2014. Less grinding down, less dying, fewer interminable conflicts and less frakking shooting for a start.
