chanter1944I had a customer ask me, in the midst of my getting all her address information in place prior to taking her order, 'So what do you think about this Boston Marathon?'
My initial reply was, 'I don't know a thing about it.' I figured she was in Boston herself. 'I'm in Wisconsin,' I said.
'I'm in Nebraska,' she answered. 'Two explosions went off over there.'
I don't really need to explain the shock and horror that followed, on both our parts as well as coworkers and friends.
I'm extremely grateful that all the Boston Millifolken I know of are okay. I am still shocked and horrified by events, but honestly, most of all?
I have the fervent desire to kick evil's ass, frankly. Greeting and defiance, pal.
