chanter1944Call this a report from the deep freeze! We're under a blizard warning until noon, the wind's gusting like crazy, and the snow is blowing practically sideways. Yes, it's still coming down. The wind wailing in the windowframe has been an almost constant symphony since yesterday, and taking the dog out has *not* been pleasant since about six last night. Every report I've seen says do. not. travel. People are still trying to go to work, Midwesterners that we are, and getting stranded. Apparently even the National Guard are getting stuck in the snow. I94 in Kenosha County is impassable, I43 in Wallworth is the same. We've got five-foot drifts at least piling up, and we've in no way seen the end of things.
This is... rather exciting, honestly. I'm silly, but it is. No studio night tonight, I expect. Not with everything up to and including Dane County public services shut today. Heck, even Whitewater and the UW are closed, and that never happens! I imagine Mom won't have to teach, either. There is no way my boss is flying out of here this morning. No way.

*eyes the weather, eyes the dog* I feel rather bad for the fuzzy, though. He's cooped up and probably sick of it, but there isn't much to be done. This weather's hazardous for everybody, including sniffers. *pets him*
*curls up inna quilt and is majorly glad she's inside*
