TW for minor medical details dealing with eyes. Nothing too gross, but if eye stuff squicks you, skip down to the last paragraph; it's safe.
In good news, the pink eye and the sinusitis are both G-O-N-E gone! Thank *God*. And thank God I had no chance of passing the horrible crud to the kiddos climbing all over me and everyone else at Christmas.
In not so good news, sometimes, if you futz with your eye enough when trying to get your sinuses to oh my lord drain already come ooooon, you irritate the heck out of said eye, causing it to water up a storm even when the rest of the issues have cleared. Which I did. One morning trip to the clinic later, and I now know what the heck is going on. Shortly off to pick up some lubricating gel and a mild anti-inflamatory drop thingie. On a scale of one to aaaargh, this is pretty darn minor. Whew. And I have almost a full week off to enjoy, on top of it. WHEW, I say!
Unrelated, Christmas was a fun time, as ever. I'm now back on the isthmus, with an entire week in front of me and nothing infectious in sight. Score! ... Truly, I'll take a minor eye irritation over anything worse.
Now it just needs to stop raining. It can snow any time, though. Snow doesn't generally freeze into glare ice overnight.
