Gah. Minor mishap at work due to not having a) half a clue and b) the right technical vocabulary and understanding of what I was trying to talk about resulted in me feeling maaaajorly awkward for a bit there. I left with the totally paranoid idea that the new coworker thinks I don't know my fundament from my handling appendage's middle joint*, or else that I'm mentally not all there. I know I'm probably waaaay off base with both those possibilities, but that doesn't stop me thinking of either one. Ugh! Hate looking thick in front of new coworkers. Haaate it.

Now I'm at home, waiting for one sister to call me back about possible dinner plans, and my otherwise wonderful dog won't. cork. up. Every little noise from out in the hall elicits a few bars of 'bark baaaark! bark bark'. Argh! I love him, he's just... loud. People walk around in apartment hallways, puppy. Chill.

*sigh* I'm in a foul mood, fair warning. Ever have one of those days? Aiya huaile, yeesh.

At least I improved Lisa's day, and didn't fall flat on my back in the snow like yesterday...

*The Rirhait version of knowing one's ass from their elbow? I have no idea.

*hugs*

I hate that feeling. Just keep being competent and they'll see how great you are.

I just realized that something I've been searching all over the place for is available as part of the program I picked, which will help down the line. Also silly dog, he just wants to keep you safe.
