laptop 2.0 is a go!

Many, many blessings on the camels of Adam the tech-savvy family friend, to paraphrase DailyKos. I'm still getting used to the changes the updates that were installed have made, but that's relatively minor and can be done as I set everything back up the way I had it. The important thing is, I have a working laptop again! :D :D :D
The explanation of her name, not to mention the name itself, are getting saved for the next post. Right now I'm going to tweak a couple more settings. And continue to be a happy Chanter. :)
