Of the moving back into uni process.
Earlier today my parents and one sister and I moved the vast majority of my ton o' stuff (TM) back into the dorms at uni. Wee! In the process we discovered that building entry is now electronic, which sucks for me because the alert that you're clear to open the dang door is a *green light*, which does absolutely nill for me. And I wonder how this will, or if this will, affect all my friends with clickers to open doors. Maybe I should warn Stacey and Stacia... and Jenny, and Matt, and Neelam... :)
Anyway, the majority of my crud is moved in, and in two/three days, I will be too. Which means I'll return to activity on SC, and more fic will get written, and... yay!
And while we were down there, we spotted three service dogs that weren't previously on campus, all of them yellows. This brings the total on campus to at least seven puppy dogs, and five of them labs. Yay!
going to go e-mail Liz from guide dog training and make sure everything's alright down where she is, since she's in Baton Rouge but I'm sure knows people elsewhere much closer to where Katrina's made landfall. If she's still in Baton Rouge herself...
