I am gainfully employed. :)

I am... still working out screenreader issues, or rather the IT department at the office is, but that didn't stop me getting oriented and settled in today. It's the kind of office where they're totally cool with you having a plant or three on your desk, and you can listen to NPR or an international analog while you work if you wear a headset, and everyone is just plain cool, so far. I go back in tomorrow to fill out a bunch of paperwork - direct deposit, emergency contact, that sort of thing. I have a job. So far, so very, very good.

And as I learned during a phone conversation tonight, Lizzie actually... y'know... doesn't mind associating with me. As in will still treat me like she did before Colorado, for the most part. If anything, things are a little more open between us, as we've both seen each other's darker sides. *happy, happy, happy chanter*
