A smell. Followed by the realization that this smell was stink*y*! And the second realization that my normally soundly-sleeping sniffer labby was up and walking around, something he rarely does, unless...
I have a sick sniffer. :/
I feel horrible for waking the RA on the floor up at two in the morning, but she has retrievers at home and I wasn't sure where I could step, so it was kind of necessary... terrible, terrible pun, I know.
That little fiasco sorted itself quickly enough and saved my carpet, and thanks to lilac perfume by the *lots* and open window and door, the smell has disappeared. But I'm watching this big fluff ball *closely* now, and I doubt if I'll sleep much the rest of tonight. If anybody's still up, the chanter's lonely.
