this has nothing to do with jingle bells
Dec. 21st, 2007 01:04 pmI've just been meaning to post these for a while now. The date is entirely a coincidence.
They're all legit, I've checked, and they've all become part of my daily routine of late. I figured since my friendslist has some pretty darn warm fuzzy people that these might go down favorably. They're the 'click a button and site sponsors give to charity' type sites. :)
The hunger site - does exactly what it says on the tin, US and international.
The breast cancer site - mammogram funding in the US and Puerto Rico.
The literacy site - books for lo-income children.
The child health site - basic medical care for children in Africa, Eastern Europe and Asia.
The rainforest site - protection of land in Central and South America.
The animal rescue site - food for animals at shelters and sanctuaries. First one of the six I stumbled on.
All the sites are linked together, as they're through the same general organization at least in part.
ETA: Now with fixed links!
