merrily we meme along
Oct. 22nd, 2007 12:05 pmThis one's going around, and why the heck not? :)
What would you say are the trademarks of my writing? What themes or quirks or turns of phrase have you noticed? What is it that makes a story/tag by Chanter -- well, a story/tag by Chanter? If you answer, then -- if you want to! -- request a drabble in whatever fandom you think I can write.
I know I've got a ton of quirks, and if even I can spot them, they must be God-awful obvious, for better or worse. :)
In other news, I've just come back from tripple class; electronic media copyrighting, ecology and society and feature writing. I go to wash my hands, and lo and behold: no hot water! Literally. Nothing comes out when I turn on the tap save a drip or two. Cold water works just fine, as I discovered after trying two different sinks and standing bewildered on the tiles for a minute wondering how I was going to de-soap my hands. Bleh, I say! So much for the hot shower I was planning on. Gods, but I'm cold.
Other Whitewater local/campus-bound folken, are you dealing with this too? With my luck, it's just Arey. And Katie wasn't in, so she likely doesn't know yet if it *is* indeed just Arey. Eep.
Edited to add: Apparently it's a scheduled outage thing. Hot water's off till three, darned if I know why. At least it's not some random thingie. Maybe next time I'll have the sense to look at the sign on the ladies' loo door--oh yeeeeah. Oops? :D
