amazing, isn't it. Just letting folks know that in... roughly an hour or so, I'm likely going to be out with Brandi and possibly Kate. And there will be drinking. Expect a lack of coherency - more of one than usual - when I get back in. Whenever that is.

That said, I don't imagine I'll be able to RP as Alina or thread as Sariel tonight. Drunk Chanter would likely translate into drunk or otherwise loopy and possibly philosophical greenrider, and either unusually giggly or very broken helm officer. the former might be fun, though she'd probably break the PG13 in public rooms rule if I attempted any RP in the weyr proper; seaholder language+me with alcohol in me=colorful indeed. The latter... well, the first might not be terribly IC, unless she'd had a few drinks herself, and the second--uh. I'm afraid I might take it over the top if I try writing that state of mind while while my own's iffy.

And I've just had my train of thought derailed by thunder. Crud. And a flippin' great huge downpour. Double crud. And there go the plans to walk downtown, I guess. ah well, yay for the cab service running later than 6:45 now term's started!
