It’s not as though their colors have ever matched particularly well. Complimented yes, when viewed in the right light; black and red can work amazingly well on darker days, red and white on the lighter ones. Red and yellow? That’s harder, though it’s not impossible - call it a pyrotechnic display without the flame and pulling it off becomes that much easier. But all four at once... well.
When it comes right down to it, there’s sanguine and then there’s feline, and there’s divided soul and then there’s avian and no matter which way you turn them, they’re a mismatched blurr of black-yellow-white-red. And neither one’s ever minded, even the slightest bit.
Color coordination, ha. Nobody ever said love depended on pigments.
