Summary: For Fiora’s second favorite character challenge. Drabble. Ro’s thoughts on leaving Starfleet, and her ship.
Walk with the prophets, she says. Maybe they will, maybe they won’t. who knows, with them. Fate, and maybe divinity, protects little children, fools and ships named Enterprise.
And hopefully Maquis.
Watch your step, she says. Because they’re dancing in the border lands, on moral grey and precedent and who’s to say that one step onto the wild side won’t be their last? She loves them, hates them, thinks the world of them but they’re crazy. They’re still dancing.
And so is she.
Don’t forget me, she says. She knows their majority will, and she’ll treasure the handful who won’t.
