fic for Summyre

He was rarely quiet.
Everything deserved to be railed at, you see; everything had faults, flaws and impurities visible enough to warrant interest, scrutiny, rejection. Furniture had cracks, perceptible to the naked humanoid eye and not; colors faded; creatures behaved in reprehensible ways as a matter of daily course. Even the sun was flawed, whether or not the shadows it produced by it’s absence were blamed officially.
He was rarely silent, the violet one - everything deserved his wrath, even the dark little thief he’d wrapped his mind around.
And if love for the morally grey boy was admitted in the quiet moments... well. The world didn’t have to know.
