Ahem. I'm here, really.

Yeah... when I say I'll report back in after my trip home for strawberry season, I really should think about actually *doing* so, shouldn't I? this is what happens when time elapses lightning quick.

Not all that much to report here; strawberry-ing was wonderful, as was the strawberry banana bread that came back to school with me. Color me very sorry that the berry season, like the lilac one, lasts a woefully short time. The biology course is going *far* better than I expected it would, due in large part to having two of the best professors I've ever had and one pretty darn wonderful lab aid besides. My muse is still on extended hiatus, which is less than fun dealing with, but the poetic/lyrical tendencies associated with it are starting to come back. All is not lost. I just wouldn't mind it hurrying it's return in full up a little.

In other news, I've gotten back into RPing Alina regularly, which I'm loving. Jae, I owe you a scene or twelve some time in the near future. :)

Beyond that, there's not that much to say. I'm a bit bummed I won't be able to make it home for fireworks, but maybe I can catch Whitewater's festivities, whenever they are. Not that I've got anything close to what you'd call national pride, but hey, pretty sparkly 'splody stuff! My being able to see anything is about as far up in the air as one can get without hitting zero gravity, but at least I can hear things going boom, yes? :)

You know, I was thinking of you as of late. A friend at work asked Mike and I to go RPing and I've never gone. Was wondering if you'd like to accompany us sometime:) As for fireworks, let me know which night you'd like to go...maybe we could go together. Plus, we're throwing a party this weekend for Nando, as it's his birthday. It'll last the whole weekend. Give either Mike or me a holler if you want us to pick you up! Love you:):):)

Oh, so *that* was what the fireworks I heard going off on Friday and Saturday evenings were? :D

Sorry... I didn't see this until just now. This is me needing to check LJ more often. As for the RPing, I'd love to, but I'll be scarce for three or so weeks coming up. Gotta love having a break in classes, yeah? Let me know when works, and I'll see what I can do. :)
