And filling in a very entertaining meme to pass the time before early class.

1. Commander Geordi La Forge - Star Trek TNG
2. Commander Jeffrey Sinclair - Babylon 5
3. Specialist Cally - Battlestar Galactica 2003
4. Rembrandt Brown - Sliders
5. Talia Winters - Babylon 5
6. Captain Jack Harkness - Doctor Who/Torchwood
7. Lieutenant Valeris - Star Trek TOS
8. Rose Tyler - Doctor Who
9. Commander Susan Ivanova - Babylon 5
10. Leah Brahms - Star Trek TNG
11. Mora Cassidy - Alien Worlds
12. Ensign Harry Kim - Star Trek Voyager

1. Who would make a better college professor, 6 (Mora Cassidy) or 11 (Jack)?
Well, Mora Cassidy has that one pretty much wrapped up already--scientist/humanitarian/interstellar traveler, enough said. Granted, if Jack was teaching temporal theory he'd likely do fairly well for himself, but knowing him he might have a few issues with the whole abstaining from teacher-student relationships thing. *cough*
2. Do you think 2 (Commander Sinclair) is hot?
Oh, lords yes! *turns pink* What a voice, mmmm. I'm obvious, aren't I [livejournal.com profile] misty_shadows?
3. 12 (Harry Kim) sends 8 (Rose Tyler) on a mission. What is it, and does it succeed?
Harry, on discovering via a fissure in the barrier between universes (a la Worf's experience hopping about various alternate timelines in TNG) the existence of Time Lords, Tardises and time travel that does not involve a slingshot maneuver around a star, sends Rose and company forward approximately twenty years to find out not if voyager makes it home or not, but whether a certain perennial ensign ever gets a second pip on his collar. The mission goes rather spectacularly bust, however, when parties from both dimensions are caught by a Janeway who goes from surprised to highly irritated in short order--hello, temporal prime directive! Everyone does eventually return to their own version of somewhere, leaving Harry in rank-conscious limbo--nice try.
4. What is or would be 9 (Ivanova)'s favorite book?
Not certain on the specific title, but I picture her reading classic, faintly melodramatic Russian literature in her native language. This would happen only late at night with the lights at half of normal illumination, and she'd have a DND on her door before she opened a single volume--must keep up appearances, after all, even though her idea of recreational reading is quietly common knowledge among the senior staff.
5. Would it make more sense for 2 (Commander Sinclair) to swear fealty to 6 (Jack), or the other way around?
Oh, my! I'm thinking probably Sinclair would be the swearer rather than the swearee, simply because I don't see Jack promising anything to anyone and certainly not that solemnly! He might recinde the oath if Katherine Sakai ever found out about that one-night stand and the missing bottle of *strong* spirits somebody *cough* Jack *cough* nicked from green sector, however...
6. For some reason 5 (Talia) is looking for a roommate. should she share a studio apartment with 9 (Ivanova) or 10 (Leah)?
Oh my! Again, even! My obvious answer here is Ivanova, as they've shared quarters before--blame the faulty temperature controls in Talia's, and mmm, lovely shippiness and there are *so* many directions I could go with this one... but I'll spare you. Besides, Leah doesn't exactly seem the type to share a room with someone, unless Geordi is the other person but that's another story entirely.
7. 7 (Valeris) and 12 (Harry Kim) have dinner together. Where do they go and what do they discuss?
If, somehow, these two met anywhere, it would probably have to be on DS9 before Voyager's departure at the beginning of the series. A Federation-run Bajoran station with ships coming in at all hours of the... whenever would be a fairly logical place for Valeris to attempt to end up, as there'd be much less chance of discovery/notice and she could lose herself fairly easily in the crowd if the promenade was busy--and when isn't it? As for dinner arrangements, I'd guess Quark's would be the location and as for conversation, that would hinge mainly on Harry not recognizing the alluring, slightly unusual Vulcan woman who took the chair one place away from his and who asked him about the finer points of a recently-released paper on the latest upgrades to long-range subspace communications systems after she noticed the color of his uniform. He might catch the breeze, but only *after* Valeris was well clear of the bar and, hopefully, the station and if she wasn't, then he was, as in stuck seventy odd years away in the delta quadrant when it dawned on him that he may have collaborated with a traitor the other night over pasta.
8. 3 (Cally) challenges 10 (Leah) to a duel. What happens?
Cally and Leah fully intend to go through with the whole showing up for the dueling thing, though neither is particularly good with weapons, the prospect of fighting physically does not appeal to either one, and both are having serious doubts about the entire mess--Cally made the challenge in the heat of a particularly furious moment, and Leah half suspects that Cally may have a screw loose. An increasingly uncertain Cally and a bemused Leah both turn up at the designated place and time, and one or both may half-heartedly raise a hand but nothing more, as Cally says what they're both thinking as she calls the whole thing off and apologizes for being a frakking idiot. Laughter follows, mainly of the relieved variety, and the two are in one l-o-n-g discussion of the differences in mechanical engineering between universes before too long. Leah revises her opinion of the specialist--she's not nuts, and she knows her stuff, and Cally makes if not a new friend, at least a like-minded acquaintance.
9. If 1 (Geordi) stole 8 (Rose)'s most prized possession, how would they get it back?
The only reason Geordi might swipe anything of Rose's would be as some sort of prank, in a momentary lapse into childhood goofiness, and he'd likely give it back before Rose could attempt to recover what was nicked.
10. Suggest a title for a story in which 7 (Valeris) and 10 (Leah) attain what they most desire.
I'll be damned if I can think how these two would end up in a story together anyway. I don't know yet! Ask me again when I get a fic inspiration at two in the morning.
11. What kind of plot device would you use if you wanted 4 (Remmy) and 1 (Geordi) to work together?
Rembrandt and the rest of the sliders land, by way of one *majorly* screwed-up timer, in the Enterprise D's timeline. Geordi is the obvious choice as to who lends a helping hand.
12. If 7 (Valeris) visited you for the weekend, how would you get along?
Considering I look like Valeris RL, and that there are some underlying issues there and never mind the whole logical read: icy! Vulcan-ness, I'm not certain it would work out so well. We might end up comparing perspectives on the Kittomer situation immediately following her timeline, though.
13. If you could command 3 (Cally) to perform any task or service for you, what would it be?
No comment. Just none. :)
14. Does anybody on your friends list write or draw 11 (Mora Cassidy)?
Not that I know of. She's a very rare character.
15. If 2 (Commander Sinclair) had to choose sides between 4 (Remmy) and 5 (Talia), which would it be?
Sinclair would most certainly choose Talia, later betrayal under pain of Psycorps personality implantation and everything. He's loyal, is our commander.
16. What might 10 (Leah) shout while charging into battle?
Leah, in battle? Yeah right. Maybe verbal battle, in which case I could see her yelling something along the lines of "what the *hell* were you thinking?"
17. If you had to choose a song to represent 8 (Rose Tyler), which song would it be?
Ooooh. Vanessa Carlton's "White Houses," but only certain verses.
18. 1 (Geordi), 6 (Jack), and 12 (Harry Kim) are having dim sum at a Chinese restaurant. There is only one scallion pancake left, and they all reach for it at the same time. who gets to eat it?
Geordi would defer to the other two just out of plain decency, and Harry I don't think would exactly mind if someone else had the last scallion pancake, so Jack would get it.
19. What might be a good pick-up line for 2 (Commander Sinclair) to use on 9 (Ivanova)?
*snorfles* yeah, right! If he even *tried* that one there'd be some serious fireworks, and of the boom today! variety as opposed to anything romantic. Now, Talia on the other hand...
20. what would 5 (Talia) most likely be arrested for?
Oooh, uh-oh. Collaboration with the underground movement of telepaths not associated with the corps. Damn Psycorps.
21. what is 6 (Jack)'s secret?
His allegiances were his secret, from somewhen round about 1940's London up through that day the Doctor and Rose dropped in on Torchwood Tower. Time agent was one thing, but *that* sort of time agent was entirely another and he wasn't exactly keen on their finding out just who he'd been working for--generosity and humor aside, they'd likely have chucked him straight off their great blue quirky creature of a ship if they'd known. But now that the whole ordeal is over, that's in the past. It's a bit difficult hiding it from them now.
22. If 11 (Mora Cassidy) and 9 (Ivanova) were racing to a destination, who would get there first?
That depends. Cassidy in the Challenger and Ivanova in a starfury... um, hmm. Damn, do I have to calculate in hyperspace for this one? Call it a draw, unless... oh! No solo jump points for starfuries. Never mind, Cassidy would win, though not by much, and Ivanova would be highly pissed off before grudgingly giving her adversary the respect she admits, after sufficient time has passed, that she's earned.
23. If you had to walk home through a bad neighborhood late at night, would you feel safer in the company of 7 (Valeris) or 8 (Rose tyler)?
Oooh, traitorous, eerily self-sufficient Vulcan Starfleet officer or time-traveling Londoner. It's a tough one, but I'd have to say Rose--she could always ring the Doctor on that lovely intergallactic mobile of hers if things got iffy.
