So I'm in the shower, and let me confess that for the last two days or so, three at most, I've had hot and cold running shivers on account of this virus or whatever it is I've got, and I haven't been able to get truly warm since Thursday night last. So I'm standing under a wonderfully hot shower, and I'm *finally* genuinely warm. So in the end I turn the water off, expecting to be able to keep feeling fairly decent... and not two seconds later, the blasted fire alarm goes off! ARRGH!! So I end up leaving my shower stuff in the bathroom, throwing on my clothes without time to dry off, slinging my hair up in a towel after only slightly wringing it out, running to get my dog and going barefoot out the door. Yuck!
And now I'm *freezing*!
There's still the memory of being so happily warm, but yeah. Going out of doors while still drenched under one's clothes... bad idea. Bosco didn't mind it as he got attention from tons of people, but brrrr for me. Hmmmmm. At least I got an apple jolly rancher out of the deal.
