having now seen the New York special...
Okay, so first off, did anybody else have the worst time with the audio for the uploads of the New York episode that are out there? Yikes! The first version I tried had horrible skips in it, and the second, though thankfully free of hiccups, was still muffled and weirdly pitched/speed tweaked. Darnit. That's what I get for using youtube as a primary canon source. :P
Second, wow, I had a time following what was going on in some places there. Some of that was definitely due to the pitch/clarity issues the upload had; voices were not nearly as distinct as usual. Did anyone catch a full transformation theme for Sparrow/Eagle? I couldn't pick one out, again audio issues, save the popularly-familiar eagle cry - uh, that's not an eagle, that's a red-tailed hawk! Not entirely related, am I right in believing Majestia, Night Owl, and Sparrow/Eagle (and possibly Uncanny Valley) are all canonically black? Flipping awesome, if so!
Speaking of potential awesomeness, it's now canon that Lafayette was a wielder. :D! My mind immediately pounced on historical events and figures, and I found myself with the headcanon that, post the Revolutionary War, Lafayette temporarily (not that he necessarily knew it was temporary at the time) handed off his Miraculous to someone, preferably with the full knowledge and consent of the associated kwami, before returning to France. Yes, there was a revolution brewing in France, and Lafayette clearly knew it, but there was also an active slave trade and slaveholder economy in the newly-independent United States, and Lafayette saw *that*, including the evils of human bondage, firsthand. Let's assume Lafayette was being selfless as well as confident here. Historical nerds may see where this is going: I'm so very headcanoning James Armistead Lafayette as eagle-wielder while Lafayette was in Europe, and if he didn't use his powers to be an especially effective Conductor for at least part of that time, I would be very surprised. I picture their meeting during Lafayette's return trip to America as a moment of discreet Miraculous handoff in reverse as well as a hug, which would match with canon, since Lirri (Lirii? Liiri? what is the canonical spelling of that kwami's name? ETA: Liiri) assumed Gilbert was still their wielder two centuries later.
I've got it in my head that James Armistead Lafayette used the name Flight Feather when transformed, though more as a Railroad codename than a hero name. Not sure what Lafayette would use--hmm.
I'm less able to make my daydream of Bill Lee (Washington's captive gardener) as another eagle-wielder work in canon, unfortunately. I wish I could make that work.

Aeon Hill aka Uncanny Valley is Black. I can't tell if her hair is braids or dreads or even, given the whole android bit, actually hair or just meant to look it. I will get you a better description of all four of these characters in a bit.
Olympia Hill aka Majestia is white. Very short blonde hair.
Jess Keynes aka Sparrow aka Eagle is Native American not otherwise specified or, possibly, specifiable. Brown skin, two black braids, beadwork earrings, and her whole everyday outfit is red white and blue. (The Eagle kwami, L I I R I, is about the same shade of green as the Statue of Liberty.)
Barbara Keynes aka Knightowl (no, I don't know why the canonical spelling is Knight with a K plus Owl as a single word), I would definitely figure her for white were it not for her obviously Native daughter. It's possible however that Jess is not biologically Barbara's. Also, the roles of Knightowl and Sparrow have been handed down a few generations; the man who was Knightowl while Barbara was Sparrow, he was Black. (Possibly is Black; no way of knowing if he's still alive.)
By the way, Jess's VA said on Twitter to Aeon's VA (or possibly the other way around, I forget) how fun it was to play her sister. And Olympia and Barbara look very married. Just saying.

Knightowl and Majestia *act* very married, you're not wrong. :D And I can see Uncanny Valley and Sparrow/Eagle as sisters, sure. Pretty easily, even.
