Our university campus had, at one count midway through my degree, something like a dozen service dogs of various stripes, and all but one was either a Labrador or a golden retriever. So basically, we had all the sweet dogs forever. :) My best friend at the time had a golden service dog (Katie was in a wheelchair, Willow was essentially her hands) and she and my velvet fuzzball lab played together like siblings. Oh it was cute. If you couldn't find one dog, checking the other girl's dorm room pretty much always turned them up.
