When a Chanter cuts countryloose, finally!

Yes, really. I'm posting, quickly, from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario! Mom and I drove north this morning; we'd had plans in the works for at least a few weeks, and today it finally happened! I argue that the paperwork put together in advance of the border crossing was more complicated than the actual border crossing. Heh.

There has been supper at a very nice local restaurant (not fancy schmancy, and delicious Italian food), there has been checking in at a perfectly nice hotel, there has been the start of what promises to be a flurry of geocaching, and...
