You know it's spring in Wisconsin when...

See icon. Lilacs achieved! Turns out there are a couple bushes beside my building's parking lot, one white (comparative rarity!), one pale purple. This being my first spring living here, I didn't realize until a day or two ago, and even then it was more a strong suspicion than a certainty. I had it confirmed by two friends tonight, and promptly snitchied a couple sprigs. :D
