Seeking Shelters

This is a fantastic, still-in-progress, multichapter Miraculous Ladybug fic, Chat Noir/Adrian-centric after said character flees his father's home, with the added complication of lingering cat and ladybug traits and with a view of the canon world and its characters' interactions that, like so many fics seem to in this fandom, rings even truer to life. As in, less cartoon, more live-action with top notch magical effects. In other words, this fandom's got some dang excellent authors in it! TW in here for disordered eating, dissociation, and some sensory issues, all on the part of Chat Noir, one episode of violence between akuma and heroes that, though incredibly effectively handled, does seem to go beyond canon levels, Gabriel Agreste's A+ marvelous :bleeped by a ladybug emoji: parenting, and if homelessness or runaways/running away are sensitive topics for you, this fic focuses heavily on both subjects.

Tower Of Babel
by Darkwood_Princess. And now for something completely different! Deep Space Nine's universal translators go kersplat. What follows is as enchanting in the reading as it is exasperating for most of the characters! Lovely, lyrical notes on the station staff's multilingualism through the ears of someone unused to remembering that multilingualism is a thing. Sisko speaks Kreyol! Bashir speaks Urdu! O'Brien is fluent in Gaelic! Squee!

Put Aside Fear For Courage

I know I recced this last year, but this is the fic that got me started on the whole Star Trek/Young Wizards crossovery fandom fusion thing, and it is pitch perfect for the original Enterprise's senior staff.
