yucks and yums
Dec. 28th, 2009 07:54 pmI'll make what could easily be a very long story slightly shorter, as I'm still figuring out the fine details of Firefox. To condense things a smidge, having Internet Explorer slowly corrupt on you? Sucketh. Having it hit critical corrupt mass and pretty much die on you all in one go? Really sucketh. Not being able to get an installer for another browser via AIM or e-mail because one's web-based and the other isn't opening due to, you guessed it, IE? Sucketh unfiltered Fox River water through a straw. Bleh!
On the opposite end of things, attempting to uninstall IE and inadvertently fixing it instead is wicked awesome, not to mention slightly baffling. Oh well, I'll take baffling if it means I have a working browser again. The first thing I did after I'd established that yes, holy crap, my browser had actually been debugged, was download and install Firefox. I've been using it exclusively since this morning, and wouldn't you know I rather like it? *shrugs* I didn't the first time I tried it, but now I've given it a go, I think it's a keeper. User friendly tabs are uuuuuseful, especially when threading at Milliways.
Did I say something about making a long story shorter? I delude myself, I really do. *snickerfits* Again with the unrepentant chatty Kathyness. :)
Now off to... I'm actually tempted to rewatch the Pretender episode I used during Sariel's bout with the IMDB flu. Hmm. I have to be in the right mindset for that, and I'm not sure I am. Maybe later this evening.
