this's what I get for keeping vampire hours

Ooooh, guess who's overtired and a bit dizzy now. Oomph. Oh well. Here's forcing my sleep schedule back into something resembling a pattern that suits the majority of people again. Fun fun fun. Blah. Anyway. Today so far, I have:

Scheduled a job interview for Friday morning (yay!)
Sent off another job application (we'll see if anything comes of it.)
Tried to ring the landlady, just to make sure I get the paper copy of this coming year's lease stuck in my door before Friday. I spy a second phone call and a message on the answering machine in my future... her answering machine, not mine. and yes, I did end up renewing the lease for this apartment in the end; things were just a little too crazy and pressed for time, and finding work's going slowly, so I agreed to wait until next year and then find a cat-friendly place that's a bit bigger. I still miss kitties terribly, though there are far worse places to live than here, I admit that.
Worked out tentative plans for getting to Dad's family reunion thingie this weekend.

Whew! and today's not even half over. I'm not finished yet, either. :)

Oh, and while I'm thinking of it, exactly seven years ago today I brought a certain snuggly, wiggly, velvety-eared, wicked-tailed white fluffball of a mellow yellow labby home from Oregon. My *lord*, seven years! That's just scary, that is. When I took him in for his annual physical the other day, the vet mentioned something about switching him to a senior dog food and my first reaction was... senior? Bosco? Good God my dog's a senior. What the heck? That much time could not possibly have passed. I feel oooold, darn it!
