chanter1944: a cream-colored yellow Labrador lying at the top of a staircase, one paw draped over the top step (mellow yellow)
My story was copied and turned in, and my printer now has ink.

I've just registered for a second summer class that I need for my major. I actually got to advising yesterday, and sorted out my schedule for the fall term. I can't register for any of that yet, but they're holding a spot for me in at least one of the five courses I need and even though it'll mean carrying fifteen credits in September instead of my usual twelve, it should be manageable. At the upper limit of my ability to balance yes, but not impossible--after all, I've done it before. Once I sort a couple things with CSD today, I should have another summer class that satisfies my lab science requirement, and hopefully the world of the arts substitution that I need will start showing up on my AR. If all goes well, I should be able to graduate in December.

The entire communication department has given me a major case of the warm fuzzies, enough so that I've considered staying here for graduate school for the first time since I started looking into the idea.

And Paula got the summer RA position she was after, so I'll likely be living down the hall from her for at least nine weeks in the not too distant future.

Tonight is an ER marathon thingie, and I'll be home to watch it.

And there's a pretty cardinal singing outside my window, and the weather's livable enough that I can leave that window open for more than a few minutes without cursing out my decision to do so for the cold, and wear jeans and a shirt and skip the coat when walking to class/CSD/Jitters/Ambrose/wherever.

Sometimes, life is just really damn good.
