insaneappy, thankies!
Birth Song
US | Missing You - John Waite
UK | I Just Called To Say I Love You - Stevie Wonder
Life Song (at 18)
US | Dilemma - Nelly & Kelly Rowland
UK | The Tide Is High - Atomic Kitten
And now onto the other stuff. I'm still buried under with finals, though the worst research paper is finished finally! Just the one for post-modern now, and four finals at CSD and one nontraditional take-home over the course of the next week. And the forensics team picnic is tomorrow... today? *checks the time* yup, today. In about twelve hours.
I'm late for cinco de mayo, just about an hour late for it my time. Maybe that's why I'm singing in Portuguese. Maybe, or it could be random clingers-on from the dream I had last night/this morning that cast me as a native of... well somewhere in Brazil anyway. My brain works in exceedingly bizarre ways sometimes: I call Lizzie to tell her about the Marburg outbreak in Angola since she's got as much of a fascination with that stuff as I do, my subconscious latches onto the fact that hey, Angola is a Portuguese-speaking country, and kerpoof! I dream I'm in Brazil. And now I'm singing fado. Aieee!
Oh, and on a completely random note: Ierne's clutching=wonderfulness! And I was finally able to log and play both alts at the same time, I'm improving! Uh... I'd like to think so, anyway.
Shards but this's a sad song... I might just write poetry off of it. go figure. I just hope I'm not inadvertently stealing Silvia Plath's muse... or any of her word choices. Summer, spring, either way it'll never come again--at least if this song is to be believed.
Oh heck *writes*. Now I'll never get to sleep.
