what's up with her?
Mar. 8th, 2005 01:15 amAs if you all were just *itching* to know. :) Anyway, here's that long-promised update o' mine. Wee!
The three tournaments in three weekends that happened three of the weeks in February were about enough to make my head spin but, oh well, all's semi-fair in love and forensics. I swear I'll link a linky thingie to the team website someday... just not now.
On a related and yet totally random note, (and Alex if you ever read this you're totally to blame) I will never hear a countdown to lift-off on a shuttle launch the same way *ever* again. And for the sake of the continued sanity of a certain mother and daughter I know, may Sable never ask Sam what happened at that team social at Jessie's when she gets old enough to wonder. Uh-huh.
So the tournaments are over with, thank goodness for that much. My head can stop spinning.... yeah riiiiight. I wish. I spent the better part of this past weekend studying communication theory and 1950's social politics, and last night was the night I scrambled to write an essay that was a mandatory six pages at minimum. Mine came out seven, and hopefully Dr. Miller likes it. I might have gone a little too far into the explanation of reality as defined by culture, but... yeah. Had to fill space and heck, interesting is interesting.
So I'm still studying communication theory, and I'm stuck giving a presentation in class tomorrow night... bleh. After that it's the forensics showcase thingie, and then probably a round of midterms but at least the two big projects will be over. On to the next thing, I guess.
MUSHing wise, Lina's candidate coordinator along with the wonderful Tirya, and that's a blast, of course. Still haven't got much motivation to play Lor, but maybe this latest crop of 'lings will motivate me. They're great, it's my bluie who needs a clue.
and oh yeah, speaking of on to the next thing... something I found on fanfiction.net. Pin it on the brilliant fastwalker for finding/coming up with/posting it.
( Babylon 5 humor, cut on account of it's *cough* PG13. )
