leap of faith, part one

Lucky me, home for the holidays.

Well at least, home for a couple weeks while term is ending. My parents are currently here, and I've taken five seconds out of helping carry and haul all my ten thousand tons of crap from dorm room to car to stick a last-minute post in here before I'm wrestling with dial-up again. Everybody say it with me now, dial-up, eew!
So here goes, I'll post again from the land of shaky access.
