betweening weyrlings and network things

OK, I admit I spoofed one of Kassi's logs for that. "Eclipse rings and weyrmeet things," was just too good to pass up.

So anyway, the betweening weyrlings is easy enough to explain. I get to mentor one! Or rather Alina does... and here I pause to say that this is living proof that I have very little life RL if I go on about mentoring. But it's Celarain, and I didn't think they'd let me! Funfun.

So, network things. I turn on the laptop this morning after speech class lets out, trying to do some of the required research for the presentation I've got on Wednesday. And my entire university network's gone pofle ker-splat! Oh was I aggravated there. So it comes back up, and right in the middle of a marvelous scene between Chayil of Igen, Reye, K'tdan and Lorany, it goes kaput. Again.

All the time I'm thinking "Darn you thingie, work when I tell you to. Go poofle after I'm through with what needs doing. Like when I've left the university."

At least it's working *now*.

How long that lasts is beyond me, but I figure I'll make the most of it. In other unrelated tidbits Telinda's not annoyed, so whew. And a second and third whew for good measure, large amounts of relief causing my eyes to glow. Er, maybe that's a symbiote. Nevermind.
