I have job-type news to report. As in, yesterday went remarkably well - yay! I've been asked back for today and tomorrow, and if I make the minimum fund-raising standard both days, I'm on staff! Squeak! Here's hoping things work out... really, really hoping.

And honestly? I really enjoyed doing what I did yesterday. I know the dor-to-door thing conjures up images of traveling salesmen and bad products, but when you're out peddling an idea rather than something tangible, it's quite different. I don't feel like a sell-out, that way. It also helps a *lot* when you believe what you're talking about. It's the ACLU, it's right up my thermal anyway. what better idea to be getting the word out about?

*nervous nervous about today going as well as yesterday* I'd ask somebody to wish me luck again, but that happened in large quantities last time - thaaaank you! There will be shrimp before I leave for Madison, and right now there's chai, and earlier there was apple cider. Strange combo, but hey, whatever works. :)

Still wanting to watch that specific M*A*S*H episode, though. If things work out today and tomorrow, that's how I'll celebrate. *is unique and proud*

I'm SO proud of you sweetie, I really am! It's a big step you're taking and kudos to you for being so brave about it :) I really admire you for it, for having the guts and all that.

And even though you didn't ask for it? GOOD LUCK!!!!
