Summary: Drabble. Sisko made another trip to the mirror universe between through the Looking Glass and Shattered Mirror, while the alliance still controlled Tarok Nor.
Breathe in.
He’s leaning over me, and there’s righteous fury and concern in his eyes and as my breath burns I’m squinting through my disorientation and imagining him with longer hair.
Breathe out.
And he’s watching over me, looking down and reaching down and laying hands and fingers on me, warmth on chill and when that breath rasps I strain to hear through it because he’s whispering the way our version never could.
Breathe in.
I swear this Sisko is beautiful, and I can hardly tell if I’m speaking aloud anymore when I breathe out.
“Take me with you, emissary.”
