this was not a souvenir I wanted to bring home
Content warning for Covid of a fairly mild variety.
Evidently, masking up during my travels last week wasn't enough to stave off the freaking 'rona. Two women on the trip tested positive part way through the week, and I strongly suspect I caught the ick from them, despite precautions. I just took a test, and yep, dammit! :(
I mainly feel like I've got a cold in my nose, and I seem to be slowly improving. The first day I was symptomatic was the worst - gnarly headache, chills - and at that point, I thought I'd been sun-scorched, which I may have also been. I've been self-isolating since I got home, just in case, and it's a sharding good thing.
Thank God for being fully vaccinated and boosted, or this might be far worse than a runny nose cold. But... dammit! :(
