this is a test

Of the Chanter writing an entry via a dreamwidth beta feature system. If this had been an actual emergency, you'd have gotten an eyeful and/or earful of a lot more swearing and squeaking, for a start. This is only a test.

In all seriousness, I am really liking the screenreader-audible autosaved draft notification readout here! Cuts down on the eeeeeek, did I just lose that? concerns.

It soooo is! The way it functions with my software, it reads the stamp aloud without interrupting speech. If I pause to consider what word to choose, I may hear a notification, but that's *nice* to know, you know? XD

Nice, I'm glad it works for you! I just checked it out too and I like the changes. Being able to move stuff around and hide options I never use is nice for desktop, and it's certainly more functional for mobile. I don't think I've ever posted from my phone before but I guess I could now if I wanted to!

Excellent! I need to go and hide a couple of the options I never use. I didn't realize that was a possibility until I saw people chatting about it in comments to the newspost.
